I have a set of steel shafts that must move from concept to shop-floor-ready. I need you to develop the complete 3D CAD geometry, create fully dimensioned production drawings, and generate the CAM program so my CNC lathe and mill operators can start cutting without additional tweaks. The shafts are all-steel, so please allow for appropriate cutting speeds, feeds, and tool choices in your toolpaths. I typically machine on Fanuc-controlled lathes and Haas mills; post-processors for either environment are perfect. Preferred design platforms are SolidWorks or Fusion 360, and Mastercam is my usual go-to for toolpath creation, but I’m open to equivalent solutions if you can supply reliable G-code. What I’ll look for before signing off: • 3D model (STEP or native file) that matches my sketches and dimensions • 2D manufacturing drawing with tolerances, surface-finish notes, and callouts for critical diameters • Verified CAM program with a short NC simulation clip or screenshots proving there are no collisions If something in my spec seems unclear, flag it early so we can adjust before you invest time.
