Wearable Hardware Engineer – PCB, BLE, Firmware & Manufacturing Experience

Job Description We are looking for an experienced hardware/embedded engineer for an upcoming wearable product development project. The product is a compact wrist-worn connected device, and we need someone who has previously taken a wearable or similar battery-powered consumer electronics product from hardware design through prototyping and manufacturing. The device will involve: - Custom PCB / electronics design - Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) - Microphone + speaker / two-way audio - Low-power embedded firmware - Battery and power optimisation - Wireless charging - Compact wearable enclosure / CAD - Prototype development and testing - DFM and manufacturing handoff The final project will require complete production-ready deliverables including schematics, PCB/Gerber files, BOM, firmware source, enclosure CAD and assembly/manufacturing documentation. Whether you handled: - PCB/schematic design - Embedded firmware - BLE - Battery/power optimisation - Audio hardware - Antenna design/tuning - Enclosure/CAD - Prototype iterations - DFM/manufacturing 5. Whether the product reached actual manufacturing/production 6. Which country/manufacturer you worked with, if you can disclose it 7. Your availability for a technical video call with our team/client Experience with healthcare wearables, senior-care devices, wireless charging, biometric sensors or manufacturing in China will be an advantage.
