Business Development Agent for Kidswear in Nigeria

Nigeria-Based Business Development Agent for Kidswear Export/Import Business Giggly Gems is a kidswear manufacturer and merchant exporter based in Amritsar, India, producing children's apparel from newborn to 14 years - including baby bibs, baby frocks and dresses, boys' ethnic and party wear, girls' co-ord sets, and uniforms/workwear. We offer private label, OEM, ODM, white label, and CMT manufacturing, and our products are compliant with international standards (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, REACH, EN 14682). We currently export to the UK, EU, and parts of Africa, and are now looking to expand into the Nigerian market. We are looking for a locally based, well-connected individual in Nigeria to help us: - Identify and connect with potential importers, distributors, and wholesale buyers of kidswear/children's apparel in Nigeria - Research the Nigerian kidswear/apparel retail and wholesale landscape (key cities, markets, trade hubs, buying seasons) - Facilitate introductions and initial conversations with prospective buyers - Advise on local import regulations, duties, and logistics considerations for apparel imports - Support relationship-building and ongoing business development in the region Ideal candidate: - Based in Nigeria with existing knowledge of or contacts in the textile/apparel/retail trade - Experience in import/export facilitation, trade sourcing, or B2B business development - Strong communication skills in English - Prior experience connecting international manufacturers with African buyers is a plus Deliverables: A shortlist of qualified importer/distributor leads with contact details, plus ongoing support in outreach and relationship management.
