Excel Mixed-Data Cleanup

I have an existing spreadsheet that combines text fields (names, addresses, notes) with numerical figures (sales, IDs, dates stored as numbers). Before I can run any meaningful data analysis on it, I need the file professionally cleaned and standardized. Your job is to spot and fix the typical issues that creep into a mixed-data sheet: inconsistent formats, stray characters, merged cells, duplicate rows, blank gaps, and numbers that have slipped in as text. Once everything is tidy, the file should be ready for pivot tables, formulas, or a downstream import into Power BI without throwing errors. I’m looking for a clear, detailed project proposal that tells me: • how you plan to approach the cleanup, • what checks or Excel/Power Query functions you’ll rely on, and • how long the turnaround will be. Deliverables I expect: • The fully cleaned Excel workbook. • A short, tab-by-tab log of the changes you made so I can trace anything back if needed.
