AI Video Production Project Manager

I’m assembling a remote team to create a series of military-history video essays that blend traditional editing with the latest AI-driven production tools. Your role is to act as the central project manager who keeps the entire pipeline running smoothly from day one. Core oversight • Freelancer selection and hiring – you’ll source, vet, and contract voice-over artists, researchers, motion designers, editors, and any specialist needed for AI tasks such as text-to-video, rotoscoping, or voice cloning. • Project timeline management – set realistic milestones, track progress in a shared dashboard, and keep everyone on pace for weekly episode drops. • Quality assurance of video production – review every draft for storytelling flow, visual polish, and correct technical specs before it reaches me. Equally critical is historic verification/plausibility; dates, uniforms, maps, and terminology must be accurate. What you need to bring You already understand how AI video engines (Runway, Pika, Stable Diffusion, ElevenLabs, or similar) slot into a Premiere / DaVinci Resolve workflow, and you can judge whether an AI generated sequence meets broadcast standards without artifacts or uncanny anomalies. You’re as comfortable reading a Gantt chart as you are prompting Midjourney for a period-correct background plate. Typical week 1. Post micro-jobs, screen reels, and issue NDAs and contractor agreements. 2. Approve scripts and storyboards, double-checking historical details. 3. Coordinate asset hand-offs between researchers, voice talent, and editors. 4. Run a mid-week stand-up, flagging blockers early. 5. Deliver a polished 8–12 min episode every Friday, complete with captions, thumbnails, and versioned project files. Acceptance criteria • All freelancers contracted and onboarded within the first seven days. • A living timeline visible to me 24/7. • Zero factual errors in published videos or plausibility/historical accuracy issues. - 8K image upscaling using specified tools. - Needs to understand bespoke workflow. • Final renders in 4K H.264, plus source files neatly archived to cloud storage. This role will oversee up to 10 freelancers during an initial one-month trial period to evaluate project management effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in video production workflows and the ability to train freelancers by identifying areas for improvement while ensuring historical accuracy in all outputs. They must also be available for regular video calls to ensure clear communication.
