Why this role matters As our customer deployment projects grow in software complexity, we are strengthening our team with a Senior Software Integration Lead based in Munich. In this role, you will take ownership of software topics on deployment projects, coordinate development activities, structure reporting, and act as the bridge between customers, project teams and Software Integration Engineers. What you’ll do Lead software activities on customer-site deployment projects and ensure clear ownership from specification to handover. Build and share software reporting with project stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, priorities and progress. Facilitate functional analysis workshops to understand customer needs and translate them into software solutions. Write software specifications and coordinate the development of programs and interfaces between Exotec WES, WMS and third-party systems. Guide Software Integration Engineers during project development phases and support tests, simulations and integration campaigns. Ensure a smooth handover of developed software features to Operations teams and support customer installations.

Requirements

What you’ll bring Master’s degree, Engineering degree or equivalent background. Around 5 years of experience, including software integration, software development coordination, technical project management or similar responsibilities. Experience or strong interest in WMS/WES, warehouse automation, logistics systems or industrial software environments. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work confidently in a client-facing context. Strong logical thinking, structured problem-solving and the ability to manage conceptual complexity.
