Feature Documentary Sound Mixing

We've wrapped picture-lock on a feature-length hybird and personal documentary about people who get messages from John Lennon and now need a skilled mixer to bring the soundtrack to professional release quality. All dialogue, location sound, and effects to be included. The job centres on a sound post-production mix for film/documentary exhibition. Expect the usual challenges of vérité footage—uneven production audio, and crowd scenes...though throughout we used a very good BBC mic. . I’m aiming for a natural yet immersive result that translates well in theatres, festivals, and streaming platforms, so clarity of dialogue and tasteful environmental depth are critical. If you thrive on long-form documentary storytelling and can balance realism with cinematic polish, let’s talk—links to two comparable features you’ve mixed will help me gauge fit. This is a deferred pay due to a completely self funded projuect with high ideals and shallow pockets.
