Hidden Cable Management for Home Studio

My small home studio has turned into a tangle of power and audio leads running from a mixed-media setup—audio interfaces, a digital piano/monitor, Xbox and MIDI keyboard—all crammed beside my desk. With two curious cats that love to chew anything dangling, I need every single run concealed and protected. I’m leaning toward a purpose-built cable management system rather than opening the walls. All wiring should finish tucked neatly under the desk, routed through trays, raceways or similar hardware that keeps nothing accessible to paws or teeth. Wherever a cord must drop to floor level, please propose a solution that stays flush against furniture or baseboard so it still reads as “wireless” at first glance. Key goals • Map and re-route every existing lead for power, audio, video and data. • Supply and install under-desk trays, channels or grommets sized to my current and future gear list. • Label both ends of each cable so swapping equipment is painless. • Leave the studio spotless—no loose offcuts or debris once the job is done. I have basic tools on hand, but expect you to bring any specialized cutters, raceways, adhesive mounts, screws or velcro ties you trust for a permanent, cat-proof fit.
