Excel Financial Data Management

Our financial information needs to move from scattered files into one reliable Excel environment. The job starts with disciplined data entry and organisation: every transaction must be imported, cleaned, categorised and dated so the workbook stays audit-ready. With the raw data stable, bespoke report templates are required. I presently have no usable formats, so fresh, professional-looking Profit & Loss, Cash-Flow and Balance-Sheet layouts must be built from scratch. Dynamic formulas, pivot tables, charts or Power Query are all welcome as long as the numbers update automatically when new rows are added. The final step is forward-looking insight. Using the newly structured history, create an analysis and forecasting sheet that projects at least the next twelve months and lets me adjust key drivers (growth rate, cost inflation, tax, etc.) to see different scenarios instantly. Deliverables • Clean, fully-documented master workbook containing all historic data • Three reusable financial report templates linked to that data • Interactive forecasting model with adjustable assumptions • Short hand-off guide so anyone on the team can maintain the file Acceptance criteria: no broken formulas, totals that reconcile against the source statements and a workbook that opens without macro warnings unless macros are intentionally provided.
